What does it offer?
wheremyrig provides practical online tools for everyday tasks: text analysis, PDF page extraction and document conversion, image resizing, QR code generation, various calculators, CSV-to-JSON conversion, JSON and Markdown viewers, and AI writing helpers.
Why was it built?
Built out of frustration. Sites that call themselves "free" hit you with a paywall the moment you actually try to use them, or stamp a watermark all over your output so it's basically useless. Having to register a credit card just to convert a file shouldn't be normal — so I built everything free, no tricks.
Privacy Principles
File processing and data conversion happen inside your browser by default, and your input is not sent anywhere. The few features that need server-side processing — document format conversion and the AI writing helpers — say so on their page, and files are not kept after processing. Closing or refreshing the page completely clears your input.

All tools on wheremyrig are completely free. There are no usage limits, no locked features, and no paid plans. Site operating costs are covered by ad revenue.

This site is built and maintained by a single developer. New tool ideas and improvement suggestions are always welcome. That said, I can't make promises about exactly when any given feature will ship — I'll do my best.
